I really like the dyptich photo of your sister because it makes the person looking at the photo have emotions such as being happy because your sisters facial expressions are happy. One thing i might have changed would be the photo on the left because the legs are taking away the focus of her face even though her face is brighter then her legs. But it is very good :)
I like the Dyptich photo . Even if its black and white the values of the photo is great! The values give a better texture and more of a lively feeling into the expression of the face.Great work!
I love love love the picture of your sister because it looks like you would be able to see the photos from a children's magazine and the expressions on her face were captured really well that create a sense of innocence. It makes people want to reflect on the good memories of their childhood.
The two photos I am most fond of would be your building photo and your selective focus. In your building photo, one is fully able to capture the sense of the "hustle and bustle" of the city. I also like hoe through the building you are able to see another building. I also like how you took the center apple and really worked to make that the focus of everyone's attention.
I really like your selective focus photo. It looks like it could be seen in the supermarket, a magazine, or cookbook. I like how one apple is sharper then the others. I also like how you de-saturated the other apples and kept more color in that one apple- creating an effective focal point. I also like how you can see all the details on the apple. Great job!
Olivia, i really love the edited photo of the building in NYC! The brownish, sepia color you added made the building very crisp and also made it look like an old fashion photograph. The angle at which you took the picture made it have a lot of depth, making the photo especially interesting and eye catching. Great Job!
I really like your flowers picture! The blurred, dark backround really make the flowers stand out. Your Dyptich photo is also well taken as it can tell a story, and i love how you made it black and white, Great job!
I like the Sepia building photo because of its complexity. Naturally being in the city, it has a very "busy" effect. It could very well be a still life because of everything occuring in the photo at the same time (cars moving, people walking, etc).
I think your selective photo of the apples is really nice, because you did a great job in making the apple in the center, to be the main focus. Especially since you added more color to the center apple and desaturated the rest of the apples. Also blurring the other apples helped focus more on the center apple. Good Job!
I really like the diptych and how it reflects childhood innocence. Its a very happy photo. I agree in changing the legs, I would tone the shadows down because it makes it take away from her face. But none the less, it is a very good photo
I really like the apple photo. It portrays an autumn kind of feeling. The fact that the one apple in the center of the whole photo is not blurry, my eye is directed right to it. Good job.
